Important considerations for both translations and proofreading/editing/correcting texts by Quest 4 Words:
 

•  Clear and correct language use/word choice
   

•  Correct application of the leading terminology and/or our own style guides or terminology lists
   

•  The target audience, culture and customs of the country
   

•  Punctuation/layout/formatting
   

•  Thinking along with the client: making suggestions for possible improvements and, when things/facts do not seem to be correct, checking them using other sources
   

•  Every text is proofread by a second translator/proofreader
   

•  If desired, a feedback round for the client follows after delivery 
   

•  However, rewriting the content of the texts falls under copywriting
